శ్రీ సంపత్ వినాయగర్ విగ్రహం అసిల్లమెట్టలో గల యస్. జి సంబందం & కో కంపెనీలోని ఒక ప్రదేశంలో నిర్మించారు. ఆలయాన్ని శ్రీ టి. యస్. రాజేశ్వరన్, శ్రీ టి.యస్ సెల్వగణేశన్ మరియు శ్రీ యస్. సంబందం వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యుల కోసం 1962 లో వారి నిధులతో నిర్మించారు. ఆ సమయంలో స్థానిక మత్స్యకారులు వారి రోజువారి వ్యాపార మార్కెట్ కు వెళ్లేముందు ఇక్కడ పూజలు మరియు దీపారాధన చేసేవారు.5 సంవత్సరాల తరువాత కంచి యొక్క పరమాచార్య శ్రీ చంద్రశేఖరేంద్ర సరస్వతి తన పవిత్రమైన చేతులతో శ్రీ గణపతి యంత్ర స్థాపించం ద్వారా పుణ్యక్షేత్రంగా చెపుతున్నారు. అందువలన సంపత్ వినాయగర్ ఆలయమునకు ప్రాముఖ్యత వచ్చింది.

అడ్మిరల్ కృష్ణన్ ఈస్టర్న్ నావల్ కమాండో ఇన్-ఛార్జ్ గా ఉన్నపుడు 1971 డిసెంబర్ లో సబ్-మెరైన్ (జలాంతర్గామి) ఘాజి వైజాగ్ తీరం లో మునిగిపోయినప్పుడు పాకిస్తాన్ దాడి నుండి వైజాగ్ ను కాపాడటానికి ఈ దేవుడి ముందు 1001 కొబ్బరికాయలు కొట్టారు. కొద్దీ రోజులలోనే, పాకిస్థాన్ దేశం యొక్క అత్యంత శక్తివంతమైన మాజీ సుబ మెరైన్ తో పోర్ట్ పట్టణం మీద దాడి చేయాలని ప్రయత్నించారు. ఆ దాడి నుండి పట్టణం నాశనం అవ్వకుండా మరియు ప్రజలు ప్రాణ నష్టం నుండి తప్పించుకున్నారు.

శ్రీ సంపత్ వినాయగర్ యొక్క ఆశీర్వాదం కోసం ప్రతి సంవత్సరం లక్షలాది మంది భక్తులు ఈ ఆలయాన్ని సందర్శిస్తారు. ఈ ఆలయంలో ప్రార్థన చేసిన తరువాత అనేకమంది భక్తుల యొక్క కోరికలు తీరుతాయని భక్తుల ప్రగాఢ నమ్మకం. ఈ ఆలయంలో కొత్త వాహన పూజ (వాహనం) కోసం ఎంతో ప్రాచుర్యం పొందింది.

కొన్ని సేవలను ముందుగానే బుక్ చేసుకునే సదుపాయం కూడా ఆలయం వారు కల్పిస్తున్నారు. ప్రముఖులు కూడా ఇక్కడి సంతోషంగా సాధారణ భక్తులతో పాటు పూజలు చేయించుకోవడానికి ఇష్టపడతారు. ఈ ఆలయములో నిర్దిష్ట సమయంలోనే పూజలు నిర్వహిస్తారు. వినాయక చితురి, ఉగాది. శివరాత్రి మరియు నూతన సంవత్సర వేడుకల సమయాలలో ప్రత్యేక హిమాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.

About Temple

Sri Sampath Vinayaka Swamy Temple was constructed in 1962 in the premises of M/s S.G. Sambandan & Co. in the Asilmetta area. The purpose was to offer a place of worship for the family members and staff and also to ward off possible Vastu Dosha of the building. Soon the local fishermen started offering prayers at the temple. 5 years later when the Paramacharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham his Holiness Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamy reconsecrated the shrine and placed the "Ganapathy Yanthram' with his own hands. Since then the temple became popular wilar devotees increasing day by day.

During the 1971 Indo Pak war the then Admiral Krishnan of Eastern Naval Command broke 1001 Coconuts in the temple and prayed for warding off Pakista attack on the City from the sea. Within a few days, a Pakistani Submarine Ghazi tried to attack the port city was destroyed and the city and the citizens were spared from death and destruction.

More than 2 million devotees visit the temple annually to seek the blessings of Sri Sampath Vinayagar. Many devotees experience miracles after praying at this temple. The temple is also immensely popular with New Vehicle Owners. Long queues of New Vehicles can be seen daily at the temple to invoke the blessings of the Lord and for Vahana Puja (Vehicle).

There are many other people who regularly visit the temple and experience miracles. Some pujas are booked years in advance. Even the VIP's prefer to pray along with ordinary devotees happily here. Though the pujas are conducted during specified hours, Special Homams are performed during the Vinayaka Chaturthi, Ugadi, Shivaratri and New Year festivals. These events are hugely popular.

Simhachalam Temple

సింహాచలము విశాఖపట్టణమునకు 11 కి.మీ. దూరంలో తూర్పు కనుమలలో పర్వతంపైన ఉన్న ప్రముఖ హిందూ పుణ్యక్షేత్రము. ఈ క్షేత్రమున విశాఖ పరిసర ప్రాంతాల్లో ప్రజలు సింహాద్రి అప్పన్నగా పిలిచే వరాహ ల -క్ష్మీనరసింహస్వామి కొలువై ఉన్నాడు. ఈ దేవాలయము సముద్రమట్టానికి 244 మీటర్ల ఎత్తున సింహగిరి పర్వ తంపై ఉన్నది.

Simhadri or Simhachalam temple is a Hindu temple located near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, South India. It is dedicated to the incarnation (avatar) of Vishnu known as Narasi mha (the man-lion). Sahasrakshi Meru Temple, Devipuram
